The IT Operations Manager is a tactical member of our growing department serving a global remote workforce with a growing physical presence in the Raleigh/Durham area. The selected candidate will report to the Director of IT and will aid in developing a stellar IT function within our organization. IT Operations Manager will drive and participate in design, architecture, engineering, implementation, and operations of MindMed’s global SaaS IT and business application portfolio to establish and maintain core productivity, operational, compliance, security and privacy KPIs and standards. Responsibilities: 

Scale and support our stellar IT environment and our business app stack

  • Focus on future proofed productivity SaaS apps, automation, integrations and great UI and UX for our team
  • Administer and support our business app stack - Office 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Asana and others
  • Plan, orchestrate, and execute global software, system and service deployments and upgrades with cross functional teams / departments
  • Identify opportunities for and builds automation workflows and integrations
  • Display a deep understanding of the core nature of the organization while understanding and empathizing with the end user experience
  • Manages and/or establishes vendor relationships, system/solution engineering within a particular area assigned
  • Keep an eye on efficient license and technological spend

Help and Support our Team

  • Work in conjunction with IT MSPs and professional service providers internationally
  • Facilitate Incident, Request, and Problem management processes
  • Own incident and request triaging, resolution, governed by ITSM with proper documentation and communication, use robust decision making logic, insight, knowledge, and experience to address incidents and requests that may not have clear path to resolution, applicable process or procedure

Own Device Management

  • Facilitate end user hardware procurement, configuration, and lifecycle management with robust MDM practice
  • Develop and maintains Powershell and shell scripts
  • Develop and maintains system configuration documentation
  • Develop, tests, and implements technology system/service policy/configuration for mobiles, MacOS, and Windows end user devices and software

Partner in strengthening our Cybersecurity and IT compliance

  • Monitor and takes needed action to remain aligned with expected outcomes of vulnerability management program
  • Follow and continuously update procedures, maintain systems configuration and produce artifacts on regular basis to maintain compliance with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and SOC2 standards
  • Develop and execute regular audits and remediation of core systems and services to anticipate and prevent future incidents, drive efficiency, and efficacy
  • Develop and maintains ‘how to’ documentation for back end technical processes and procedure to be executed by technology team members

 Requirements: 

  • ITIL certification
  • 4+ years working in a pharmaceutical/biotech GXP or regulated environment
  • 4+ years supporting macOS and Windows laptops via MDM
  • 4+ years supporting Identity platforms [OKTA/AzureAD]
  • 4+ years supporting SaaS applications
  • 2+ years supporting remote and/or hybrid workforce
