Remote

Does creating and curating content with the potential to improve people’s lives and mental wellness sound like a great mission? We are actively looking for a highly skilled, dynamic and strategic Part-Time Social Media Contractor to collaborate with the founders and leaders of Supermind to focus on the incredibly important topics of PTSD and Veterans mental wellness (which can potentially lead to full-time).

Thank you for understanding!***

Overview of Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for operating our social media brand dedicated to Veterans and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. You will have a blend of excellent digital and creative skills, subject area expertise/personal experience to truly speak authoritatively and/or have the credibility to communicate with those you will get the content from. You will direct and oversee ideation, design, production and execution of concepts, while providing clear direction to internal teams and external resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers and engagement through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok

  • Provide timely responses to comments, direct messages, mentions and relevant keywords on social media platforms
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies, as well as the latest in treatments for PTSD and Veterans’ mental health in general
  • Outsource and moderate user-generated content
  • Manage social media-centered contests and giveaways that aim to improve our engagement with our core audiences
  • Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of content and then use that information to refine future campaigns
