Job Summary

Numinus is seeking a vision and mission aligned leader to join the team as a Regional Clinic Director reporting to the SVP, of Clinic Operations. This role is responsible for implementing and integrating new clinic operations, and managing resources and operations through the development of operating and capital budgets, processes, systems and building of teams.


Responsibilities

Our Team:

  • Embodies numinus values and establishes a deep connection with the Clinic Managers, practitioners and Numinus leaders.
  • Builds trusted partnerships across Numinus to ensure Canadian clinics have the resources, support and development required to be profitable. This includes, our Transformative Care Centre, Marketing, Finance, P&C and our Medical Director community.
  • Creates a high-performing Clinic Manager team by using proper performance management practices and the Numinus Clinic Playbook.
  • Attracts and selects individuals (team members and practitioners) who represent the mission, vision, purpose, and values of Numinus.
  • Responsible for ensuring that new team members and practitioners are onboarded seamlessly, including updating databases to accurately reflect practitioner competencies, clinical interests, and availability.
  • Conducts and leads engaging weekly team meetings to ensure Clinic Managers are aligned on company updates and priorities.
  • Ensures quarterly goals, check-ins, development plans and formal performance reviews are completed for all team members.
  • Role models professional communication standards for all interactions with team members, practitioners, and clients.

  • Works in partnership with our Transformative Care Centre to monitor and address new client metrics and existing client expectations.

  • Embraces Numinus Services, nurturing knowledge within the team to ensure all services are leveraged and that our “under one roof” philosophy is engrained.
  • Passionately protects and nurtures our clinic reputation, strengthening our North Star.
  • Nurtures a referral community around each clinic, ensuring that over 70% of our new clients come from either a recommendation or referral source.
  • Ensures operational excellence in each clinic, ensuring the environments represent our “Setting Standards”.
  • Plays a vital role in ensuring Numinus systems are adopted, updated and leveraged, inclusive of our phone system, EMR’s and CRM.
  • Ensures controlled substances are managed appropriately and staff are trained in their secure handling.
  • Ensures Numinus and clinic specific policies and procedures are up to date and that staff and contractors are aware of those policies and any changes made.
  • Maintains clinic in good working condition while ensuring regular maintenance, including all medical equipment, managing the clinic's IT infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Printer, Phone, Alarm, and Audio systems
  • Ensures client access standards are adhered to, including making sure they and their team members respond to client emails, voicemails, or inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Works on opportunities to support our growth plans through Numinus Network or Hub and Spoke opportunities.


Our Business:

  • Owns the Profit and Loss performance of the region, identifying opportunities on a weekly basis (weekly clinic dashboard), challenges and solutions to achieve profitability. Includes participating in the formation of clinic budgets and proforma exercises.
  • Evaluates our real estate portfolio and works to optimize the square footage of each location, inclusive of consolidation and expansion.
  • Drives awareness and connection in the communities in which we operate, working closely with marketing and health professionals to find unique opportunities to participate in or partner with.
  • Monitors product category performance to identify and act on opportunities that allow us to drive growth and efficiency and works closely with the product team to optimize.
  • Ensures the Clinic Managers execute month-end protocol flawlessly, including the completion of clinic trends, and financial procedures such as clinic expense report submission.
  • Responsible for determining and communicating to senior management adequate resource requirements
  • Oversee development of policies supports for integration and standardization of health programs/services, capacity and ensuring a systems perspective


Job requirements

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Science, Health, Biology, or related fields
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Efficient communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a clinic environment or medical facility, mental health focused preferred
  • Experience managing staff and building effective teams

  • Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
