Role Overview


Reporting to the CFO, Field Trip is currently looking for an organized, efficient, and enthusiastic Sr Financial Analyst in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) role as we continue to leverage our digital apps and existing clinic network to launch new product offerings.


Working together with the corporate Accounting team and operations staff across the globe, you will spearhead the monthly management reporting for each of our Field Trip Health centres and corporate business units, monthly variance analysis and KPI reporting. In addition, you will prepare quarterly and annual forecasts for the Board and provide ad hoc scenario analysis for strategic corporate initiatives.


What You’ll Do


  • Lead the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes including updating templates, compiling consolidated files, performing variance analyses and preparing board and management reports
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the business units and corporate accounting staff
  • Responding to ad hoc queries and performing ad hoc financial and strategic analysis, and special projects (eg. M&A) as necessary
  • Continuously improve FP&A’s financial modeling techniques and tools
  • Report and iterate on key financial and operational metrics to enhance decision-making
  • Deliver financial information to non-finance colleagues


What you Bring to the Team:


  • +5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including experience as an auditor for a public Accounting firm or previous experience as a Financial Analyst for a publicly traded corporation
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA/CA)
  • Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”)
  • Advanced working proficiency of MS Excel paired with a quantitative and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, often with minimal supervision with competing timelines and priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and oral communication with ability to communicate data and findings to all senior management levels
  • Customer service focus when interacting with Field Trip Health center staff and requests
  • Experience in Healthcare, R&D, Biotech or Pharma a plus
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and to adapt to new situations as they arise
