About the Role

We are seeking experienced, communicative, and compassionate Licensed Therapist/Counselors (LPC, LMFT, LAC, LCSW) to join our team in our Springville clinic,

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to address various mental health issues
  • Conduct assessments and psychotherapeutic tests, diagnosing emotional issues, creating treatment plans, providing counseling both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with other licensed providers at Cedar Psychiatry to create a team approach to helping patients
  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
  • Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations
  • Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
  • Educate and involve family members or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary
  • Record and maintain adequate notes about client visits
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of every client situation


Requirements

 Required Qualifications


  • Applying therapists must possess unrestricted license to practice in the State of Utah
  • Meet all necessary state licensure requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
  • Solid relationship-building capabilities and a positive and compassionate attitude
  • Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
  • Passion for advancing the therapy field
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs


* We offer support with the Utah/Arizona (depending on job location please specify) licensure process including coverage of related licensing fees.
