FULL-TIME STUDY COORDINATOR NEEDED FOR

PSYCHEDELIC CLINICAL TRIAL

Journey Colab, a company devoted to the development and clinical application of psychedelic medications for the treatment of substance use disorders, is seeking a full-time study coordinator to take a leading role in our upcoming study of a psychedelic medication in the treatment of alcohol use disorder (AUD). The study will be conducted in the real-world setting of a substance use treatment center currently serving clients in Colorado, and will involve an integrated treatment program designed to optimize the therapeutic benefit of the psychedelic drug for people with AUD.

The study coordinator will manage the operational aspects of study conduct and will work closely with the investigator at the treatment center as well as with the Journey Colab team. Responsibilities will include screening potential study participants, conducting assessments, scheduling study activities, maintenance of study documentation, and overall study administration. On-site presence in the treatment center will be required several days per week, with flexibility around the specific arrangements.

Requirements for the position include a bachelor’s or higher degree, previous experience as a clinical study coordinator with significant responsibility for study operations, and a high level of interest in psychedelic therapeutics. Previous experience in clinical studies with psychedelics is advantageous, but not required.

This is a highly important role for Journey Colab, and will have significant opportunity for growth, including further participation in our programs as they develop beyond this study. An attractive compensation package with benefits will be provided.

Journey Colab is structured in a stakeholder model where 10% of the company’s founding equity is held in the Journey Reciprocity Trust. The Trust is designated to share success with community stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, and to increase equitable access to care.

If interested in the study coordinator position, please send a CV and cover note to Joel A. Posener, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Journey Colab at: joel@journeycolab.com.
