Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Guide - Job Description

As a Guide at Noma Therapy, you will guide patients through the Noma Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) treatment program, ensuring an excellent experience. You will be responsible for consulting with patients and determining their needs, coordinating patient care services, educating patients about KAP, and working with the care team to provide patients with exceptional patient care.  You will report directly to the Manager of Patient Experience.


What you'll do: 

  • As a trained guide, you will contact patients via televideo and text to ensure that patients are prepared for the KAP program. 
  • Be present with the patient via televideo during Ketamine sessions in accordance with Noma policies and procedures.
  • Manage day to day patient communications and document patient contact, including any and all activity during dosing sessions, recording in the patient portal. 
  • Specifically, assist patients through the program, checking in on their progress and answering questions about KAP as needed. 
  • Schedule appointments for patients and providers. 
  • Work with the Patient Experience Manager to schedule appointments and communicate with patients through the patient portal and SMS messages. 
  • Manage communications within the care team.
  • Travel (less than 10%) is required for regional meetings.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends


What you bring:

  • Proficiency with G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
  • Superb ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Tech savvy: you are comfortable learning new software tools with little to no direction.
  • Thoughtful, compassionate, present and personable via virtual communications.
  • Capable of holding space for novel experiences with a warm, nonjudgmental  presence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Adherence to regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA.
  • Authenticity, passion, and commitment to provide patient exceptional care and customer service. 
  • Comfort with a 100% remote work environment. 
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet patient needs, including weekends. 
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing industry. 
  • Willingness to attend training that will enhance your skills to provide optimal clinical service delivery. 
  • Resourcefulness in getting things done and orchestrating multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal. 


Noma Benefits:

This is a full time, remote position. Being located in the Denver metro area is preferred. 

This position pays $45K plus benefits. Noma Therapy provides generous health care benefits including dental & vision insurance, and 2 weeks of paid time off, in addition to company-observed U.S. holidays.
